It started with a simple prompt
I'm Akihito Tamura — a product marketer with 15+ years across fintech, e-commerce, and AI, from Tokyo to Silicon Valley. My company research always followed a system. Lean Canvas model. ICP identification. Positioning development. Frameworks I learned from marketers and entrepreneurs who had done it well.
Before AI, it was all manual. Research the company. Map the users. Track the acquisition channels. Document the business model. Hours of work across too many browser tabs.
When ChatGPT and Claude arrived in late 2022 and early 2023, everything shifted. Simple prompts became complex ones. Complex ones became a full prompt database in Notion — organized by purpose, use case, and output format. Copy a prompt, get structured output. The frameworks I relied on, every time. Claude Skills made it even easier.
But even copying and pasting prompts from my database or using Claude Skills got tedious. Researches sometimes took 15–30 minutes even though I used Claude Skills and Agents on Claude Code. That frustration was the starting point.
Just type a company name
The idea of Swellpulse was simple: connect a web search API, gather company information automatically, and synthesize it into structured output. No prompt crafting. Just a company name.
Anyone can research a company in depth — and get the output in a consistent, structured format informed by the same frameworks I've used for years. No prompt engineering. No methodology knowledge required. Only Swellpulse.
Swellpulse is early. It's not yet the best in terms of research coverage, quality, or speed.
That's exactly why I'm building it in public. Improving it with one goal: the fastest, most reliable research tool for marketers who don't have time for anything slower.
